Become a Talent Quest School Volunteer
As Brown's liaison to a Talent Quest School or community-based organization, the alumni volunteer builds on the relationship the Admission Office has begun to establish by:
- Visiting with one or more of the school's or organization's contacts
- Acting as a mentor to interested students to share personal college experiences
- Serving as a liaison to connect students to Brown resources
Establishing and maintaining the relationship with the schools and organizations is a multi-step process for which you receive ongoing guidance from Talent Quest at Brown. You should live within reasonable traveling distance of the Talent Quest School or oganization to which you are assigned. View examples of volunteer involvement.
Number needed: 100-120.
Hours of volunteer time per month: approximately 2-3 hours; Varies depending on school's or organization's needs and volunteer's availability.

Alumni Schools Committees! BASC provides opportunities for alumni volunteers to meet one-on-one with applicants during the admission process. You have a chance to share your Brown experiences and to encourage the applicant to matriculate if accepted.

Hours of volunteer time per month: 2-3 (Nov. – Feb.)
