Reunion 2009: May 22, 23 and 24

Does your class year end in 4 or 9?

This May, you can re-create your Brown experience through your Class Reunion. Celebrate the renewal of ties with friends, explore new ideas through Commencement Forums, and discover common ground with people you may not have known.

In early March, we'll send you a planner with a complete event schedule, on-campus housing details and registration instructions.

Now is also the time to use the Alumni Directory to find old friends and classmates. Make plans to come back together!

Will your friends be able to find YOU in the Alumni Directory?  Check your Personal Profile to make sure it's up to date!

New Three-Day Schedule
Since your last reunion, there's been an exciting change in the Reunion schedule: Commencement – and the Procession – will take place on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, rather than Monday. Thanks to careful planning, adjustments to the Reunion program are minimal, and all of your favorite Reunion traditions will continue.

Hotel Accommodations
Act now if you'd like hotel reservations, as rooms go quickly. Check out the list of hotel options.

On-Campus Housing
Residence hall accommodations will be available on campus. Prices for 2009 have not yet been finalized, but the 2008 prices were $50 per bed, per night with a two-night minimum.

Accommodations are free for those classes out 50 years or more, but advance reservations are still required. Classes from the 10th through the 70th Reunion will have housing primarily near Wriston Quad and Keeney Quad. Classes celebrating their 5th will have housing primarily on the Pembroke Campus. Classes are housed together whenever possible. The Residential Life Office staff tries to honor all special requests.

All rooms are cleaned and furnished with bed linens (blanket, sheets, pillow case, and pillow), towels, face cloth, soap and plastic water glasses. Items you should bring to make your campus living more comfortable include: an alarm clock, extra hangers, mirror, extra towels, blankets, fan, etc.

Housing registration forms will be sent in your Reunion registration mailing in the spring.

Reunion Weekend's Camp Bruno
For the 16th consecutive year, reunion child care services will be available for children ages 3 and up at the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center on Brown's campus. The program provider is Children's Conference Care, Inc. (CCCI). See 2008 program details (40K pdf).
