Can I register online?
Yes, until 5pm (ET) on Friday, May 15, and only if you are making payment by credit card. (Sorry, REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED - We would be happy to register you when you arrive on campus. Please note that there are a limited number of tickets for selected events and on-site registrations will be assessed a late fee.)

Is there a registration fee?
Yes. A registration fee is assessed per form and is required to attend any portion of your Reunion. For the 5th and 70th Reunions, the registration fee is waived by the University.
What are the registration deadlines?
To guarantee your reservation and secure tickets, register with payment by May 4 at 12 midnight (ET). Late fees will apply after this time. Although we make every effort to do so, please be aware that we cannot guarantee that tickets for limited-capacity class events will still be available for purchase during late or on-site registration.
Are there late registration fees?
Yes. A late fee will be assessed if your registration form is received between May 5 and May 15, 2009. The late fee will be automatically assessed through the online registration system after May 5 at 12:01 am (ET); if you register by mail, the late fee will be assessed on all registration forms postmarked May 5 or later. After May 15, all registrations will be processed when you arrive on campus, May 22-23. These on-site registrations will be assessed an additional fee.
What should I do if I need to change my reservation?

Changes to your reservation cannot be made online. Please contact Reunion Headquarters (401 863-7783) to notify us of changes. We will update your reservation and send you an e-mail confirmation reflecting the changes.
What should I do if I need to cancel my reservation?
As soon as you know that you will not be able to keep your reservation, please contact Reunion Headquarters (401 863-7783). We will do all that we can to see that you receive a refund following Reunion Weekend. However, if you have been included in a confirmed number at an event, we cannot guarantee a refund.
Can I just show up on campus at my Reunion?
Yes. However, in addition to an on-site registration fee, there is limited capacity at many events. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged to hold your space, and to help your class leaders have a more accurate idea of how many meals and class favors to order.
Are registered attendee lists available?
Yes. Lists of registered attendees are available online in early May.
I have submitted my registration. Why isn’t my name on the attendance list?
Beginning in early May, names are added to the online attendance lists daily. Reservations made via mail are usually processed within 3-6 business days of submission.
Can I bring my children and do you offer childcare?
Yes, children are welcome at Reunion. Brown partners with Children’s Conference Care, Inc. to offer Camp Bruno, a childcare program for ages 3 and up. Space is limited; pre-registration is required.
How do I register for on-campus housing?
Reunion on-campus accommodations are managed by the Office of Residential Life. Find more information online, or contact the office via e-mail or call (401) 863-2337. On-campus housing reservations must be made by midnight (ET) on Friday, May 1, 2009. Any requests after May 1 will not be processed and arrangements must be made on-site. There will be a $60 on-site fee assessed.
What if I want to find accommodations off-campus?
If you would like to stay in a hotel or inn, you should act immediately to find space. Visit our hotel information page for details.

If I arrive at the airport or train station, what is the recommended transportation?

Taxi cabs and shuttle companies are available for your convenience.
Where do I go when I arrive on campus?
On Friday, the 10th through the 70th will register at Wriston Quad and the 5th on the Pembroke Campus Green. On Saturday, all alumni register at Wriston Quad. (See campus map.)
Where can I park?
To ease your travel back to Brown, the University has made available additional parking spaces on campus.
Will there be assistance available to carry our luggage?
Yes, Reunion student staff bell hops will be available at Wayland Arch located near Wriston Quad.
Where can I find a map of the campus?
It will be available in your brochure on Reunion Weekend. You can also view a campus map online.
How can I purchase tickets to Campus Dance?
You may purchase tickets through the Campus Dance Box Office.
Are accommodations provided for people with special needs?

Yes. Information about handicapped parking, wheelchairs, technical assistance for the hearing impaired, and dietary needs is available here.
What will the weather be?
In Rhode Island, temperatures on Memorial Day weekend have been as high as 90 or as low as 50 and rain is always a possibility. We strongly advise you to bring an umbrella and suitable clothing for variable weather. Please keep in mind that many Reunion and class events are outdoors and cannot be moved inside due to the large number of returning alumni and guests.
What should I wear?
Most events during Reunion Weekend are casual. Campus Dance attire is a personal choice ranging from gowns and tuxedos to jeans and Bermuda shorts. Evening events can be dressier depending on the type of event your class has chosen; class dinners are typically business attire. Many alumni and guests enjoy the opportunity to walk around campus, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Please note that walking conditions around campus and under tents can be uneven and damp; appropriate footwear is recommended.
How do I make a gift to Brown?

Where do I go during the weekend if I have questions?
Maddock Alumni Center has knowledgeable students staffing the information desk throughout the weekend.
Are Commencement Forums offered?
Yes. Commencement Forums, as well as the new Alumni Reunion Forums, will occur on Saturday and offer morning and afternoon sessions. A complete schedule will be available when you arrive on campus at the registration tents and Maddock Alumni Center.
Where do we line up for the Procession?
The Alumni Division forms on the Main Green near University Hall and on George Street. Look for your class reunion signs. Find more information on the Procession here.

How do I get in touch with someone in my class?
The online Alumni Directory
gives you immediate access to your classmates’ contact information. Assistance is available on the site if you are a first time user, or have forgotten your password.
