Dear Fellow Alumni,
Brown is more popular than ever. This year there are over 18,000 appliants for admissions to brown. A group of volunteer alunmni, known as BASC, attempt to interview all the students who've applied to Brown.
Sara Casas-Silva '99 and I are the Area Chair-persons for San Diego where applicants to Brown have increased 50% over the past two years. With this tremenduous increase we am in desperate need of additional volunteers. Brown's records indicate that you live or work in this geographical region and I was hoping you might be willing to participate in this wonderful activity. Don't you remember your alumni interview?
All it takes is a little time and a love for your alma mater. It's a great way to stay connected or get reconnect to Brown. Plus you get to meet wonderful and interesting 18 year olds who are possibly the future of Brown University.
We are in the midst of the interview season so if you're interested email or call me right away. I can answer any questions and help get you set up for your first interview. If you can't participate this year, we'd love to have on the team for next year.
For those of you who are already BASC volunteers, thank you!
Ever true,
Geno Rodriguez '99
