BASC

BASC is the Brown Alumni Schools Committee. This committee is responsible for contacting, interviewing and recruiting prospective applicants to Brown. In addition, this committee is responsible for representing Brown at area college fairs and for being a resource to prospective students and their families. BASC is always in need of volunteers. You can help out by interviewing applicants, attending college fairs or helping to coordinate interviews. Community Service

  • Julie Roderiques is the main contact at Brown that connects Alumni with Student Volunteer Groups. You can reach Julie at Julie_Roderiques@brown.edu for more information on how you can get involved.


  • Ben Aronson is Brown's Habitat for Humanity President. His plan for this year includes:
    - To build every Saturday in downtown Providence
    - To participate in the Collegiate Challenge spring break trip: Build for about a week and a half during spring break - most likely in a Katrina devastated area.
    - To increase awareness of Habitat work and opportunities on the Brown Campus.
