Welcome to the Brown Club of Rhode Island Website!
At its September meeting, the Board of Directors of the Brown Club of RI set a new dues policy. Now, all Brown University alumni who live in Rhode Island are members of the Brown Club of Rhode Island. There are two categories of membership: Regular and Premium. Regular members will receive notice of Club events by email, web site, and periodic regular US mail. Premium members are those who send $25 to the Club’s Madeira Scholarship Fund for the Music Department. These members will receive notice of Club events by email and web site, special US mail notice of all regular club events, a private reception with the Madeira scholarship winner (or similar recognition event), early notice of events where attendance is limited, and free admittance to the Club’s annual Christmas reception. All first year graduates will automatically receive premium membership. We hope that many of you will continue to support us by taking a "Premium" membership, to encourage our scholarship program, and please feel free to add a little extra (if you’d like) for our music students. This program will continue our special relationship with the Music Department, built up over the last 40 years. I look forward to seeing all of you at Club events in the near future.
