Michel Camilo, the Fred and Barbara Erb Jazz Creative Director Chair, is composer and soloist in his Piano Concerto No. 1 in its Detroit Symphony premiere.

Pre-Concert Dinner in the Paradise Café, 2nd Floor of Orchestra Hall
Special Dining Area Reserved For Brown Alumni
James Van Valkenburg, Assistant Principal Viola of the Detroit Symphony, and Artist in Residence at Brown and Member of the International String Quartet, 1980-86, will join us for dinner and conversation.
Dinner is by individual reservation and payment. Please call the Paradise Café at 313-576-5055 by November 10 to make your reservation and mention the Brown Alumni Group. A 6:00 PM reservation time is recommended. (Dinner is optional. You don’t have to come to the dinner in order to come to the concert.)

(2nd floor, Orchestra Hall). (Coffee and dessert by individual payment.)

Special Group Rate -- $ 30 per person (mid-balcony) Reservations and payment must be received by Thursday, November 5. Tickets will be purchased as a group and will be held for pick-up (6:00 - 7:40 PM) before the concert. Look for the Brown University Alumni sign in the Orchestra Hall new lobby.
