Khrushchev Speaks. The Brown Club of Houston welcomed Sergei Nikita Krushchev (third from left), the son of the former Soviet Premier, now a senior fellow at Brown.  He spoke at the Junior League about the tranistion of the Soviet Union to a decentralized society. Professor Bill Beeman Lecture. The Brown Club of Houston welcomed Dr. William O. Beeman, professor of anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies and author of "The Great Satan vs. the Mad Mullahs", at Masraff's Restaurant. Santa Collection Visit. The Brown Club of Houston visits the private "Santa Claus Collection" that includes thousands and thousands of Santa and Reindeer decorations that fill a Galleria-area penthouse wall-to-wall and floor to ceiling.  (December 2005) ^ back to top
