We welcome suggestions for new programs and encourage alums to become more involved with the Club and with Brown. If you would like to propose an idea for an event or have comments about our recent events, please contact one of our Officers or Directors. In addition, Alums wishing to get more involved might consider some of the following suggestions:
Hosting Events
We have found that many of our most successful events have been hosted by area alums at their homes. If you would like to host an event, please contact one of our Officers or Directors.
Managing Programs
Our Board has devoted considerable time and effort to ensure that the Club offers a rich program of events to help alumni, students, parents and friends of Brown stay in touch with the University and extended community. If you would like to volunteer to help with an event, please contact one of our Officers or Directors.
Interviewing Through BASC (Brown Alumni Schools Committee)
An exciting way to be more involved with Brown as an alum is to become a BASC interviewer. The Fairfield County region coordinates over 100 alumni interviewers to meet several hundred applicants to Brown every year. Additional interviewers are always in demand!
To become an interviewer or learn more about the program, please contact our BASC Area Chair
(Brian Murphy '67 at (203) 322-4654 or
send an email) or visit the BASC website.
