About Us

The purpose of the Brown Club of Chicago (BCC) is to support the educational goals of Brown University. This support takes the form of several local committees which work together to provide social and educational activities for Brown University alumni and their families, and to aid the University in identifying, interviewing, and recruiting outstanding high school students during the application process. The social activities are coordinated by BCC. BCC has regular board meetings which are open to all members of the Brown community. Please look over the Events page for more information. Volunteers to help organize events are always needed. Activities relating to recruitment are directed by the local Brown Alumni Schools Committee (BASC). This committee coordinates a local network of volunteers to attend college fairs and to arrange alumni interviews for all interested students. For more information on how to become an alumni interviewer, a college fair representative, or a central interviewing coordinator please visit the BASC page. Please use the menu bar at the top to navigate across our web pages.
