CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 1997!!!
We had one of the highest attendances for 10th reunion on record.
In 2005, 28% of the class attended their reunion
In 2006, 30% attended
In 2007, 37.9% attended!!!
Additionally we had significant contribution to the Brown Annual Fund.
From Josh Fredley in the Alumni Office:
The 2006-2007 fiscal year was a tremendous success for Brown University. The Annual Fund finished at over $34.6 million from more than 34,300 donors, which sets new records for both and exceeds the goals of $31.5 million from 34,000!
Here are the results for the Class of 1997's 10th Reunion Campaigns:
BAF Gifts Received: $155,744
Participation: 38% from 539 class members (best 10th reunion of classes from the 1990s!)
BAF Leaders ($10k+): 3
BAF Partners ($1k - $9,999): 37
Comprehensive Giving (to all Brown priorities): $276,255
This was a great effort, especially seeing the breadth of support at the $1,000+ levels and strong class participation for a young class. Thank you so much for the time, effort, and resources you have given to Brown in the past year. Your generosity and love for your alma mater is truly appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who attended reunion and contributed to the BAF. Its great to have pride in our class and our Alma Mater.
