CLASS OF 1994: NEWS & DUES UPDATE - Please remember to send in your class dues!!!

Dear Classmate,
It has been a little over three years since the Class of 1994 trekked back to Providence for our tenth reunion. As your elected class officers, we hope to strengthen the connections among our classmates and with Brown and to support the planning for our next reunion. As we plan class activities, we can use your help with communications, specifically with our class Web site and electronic communications. We urge you to get in touch with us to find out ways you can become more involved with our class.
In order to help with class communications and support our class activities we are asking two things of you:
- Please be sure we have your most current contact information. This can be done online by clicking on the alumni directory at http://alumni.brown.edu or completing the information on the enclosed form.
- We’re asking each of you to pay a modest amount of class dues to support our mailings and organize activities related to our upcoming fifteenth reunion in May 2009. The recommended amount is $25.00, but any amount is appreciated. Please know, your support of our class is important and appreciated, but it is not to be confused with your gift to Brown in honor of our reunion.
It has been over a year since we last sought class dues and had modest participation. This year we are hoping to improve participation to 50% among the 1348 members of the Class of 1994. This would provide our treasury with needed resources and make our fundraising efforts as strong as other classes. These funds go not only towards reunion activities, but also to local class events held between reunion years. If you are interested in helping to organize class activities in your area, please contact one of us, as we are looking for someone to join our team as the Vice President, Activities.
Thank you for your assistance in making the Class of 1994 self-supporting. We’re looking forward to working together to facilitate greater ongoing class connection and to plan a very exciting, enjoyable and memorable fifteenth reunion.
