Class of 1968 has been awarded recognition as "2008 Class of the Year" from Brown Alumni Association.

During the 25th Annual Alumni Recognition Dinner, our class was distinguished for our class efforts for our 40th reunion. Our class was selected because of a large class participation including record financial giving, record attendance, and a particularly unique and interesting reunion program.

Thanks and congratulations to all for your participation and continued loyalty to Brown.

The award reads...

"Your class volunteer leaders organized an outstanding 40th reunion program including multiple events leading up to the reunion, class lectures, and a fundraising strategy resulting in 40th reunion records for both comprehensive and Brown Annual Fund giving."

A plaque will be placed in Maddox Alumni Center and the award was accepted by

Kitty Walker-Keane, Bob Martin and Buzz DiMartino.
